**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating stand-up forklifts, Crown Stand Up Reach trucks, and Reach Trucks in a fast-paced food manufacturing warehouse environment. You will handle materials, manage inventory, and support the shipping and receiving processes. **Responsibilities** + Operate stand-up forklifts and Reach Trucks in a safe and efficient manner. + Handle materials and manage inventory using RF scanners. + Load and unload trucks within the warehouse setting. + Perform cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy. + Work in a freezer environment as required, ensuring products are moved swiftly in and out of shelves. + Collaborate with the team to maintain a fast-paced production flow. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in operating stand-up forklifts and Reach Trucks. + Experience in shipping and receiving processes. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. + Material handling and picking skills. + Competence in using RF scanners. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a freezer environment. + Familiarity with food manufacturing processes. + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive team where you will receive new cold gear after your first week of work. It features multiple loading docks and is primarily focused on food processing, including sizing, chopping, splitting, cutting, frying, and freezing products. Forklift operators will spend most of their day in the freezer but will receive a 10-minute break every hour away from the cold. The position is on the 2nd shift, from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM, with potential overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
