Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the handling of residential/commercial doors. A Material Handler you will be responsible for efficiently and safely managing the movement of materials within the facility.

Operating Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts to transport materials around the warehouse or worksite.Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring proper handling and stacking to prevent damage.Material Handling: Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect forklifts for safety and maintenance needs, reporting any issues or damages.Inventory Management: Assist with inventory controls and maintain high standards for audits.Record Keeping: Maintain daily production logs and equipment inspection reports.Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Manufacturing facility (non-climate controlled)Shifts Available:Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday) 5am-5pmPay: $17.00/hrLocation: Pensacola, FLJob Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position - benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract

Qualifications:1-2 years forklift operating experience Material handling in warehouse or manufacturing settingHeavy lifting up to 50+lbsPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
