**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator who will be responsible for various essential tasks within our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of receiving, picking, and maintaining inventory while adhering to company standards and safety regulations. 2nd Shift - (3pm - 11pm) 19.80/hour (with opportunity to make $22+ within the year) **Responsibilities** + Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, update the computer system, and place parts in appropriate warehouse locations. + Pick part orders from both low and high locations using an RF scanner and load orders onto production carts. + Participate in the cycle counting program, bin/space consolidation program, and ensure general cleanliness of inventory and warehouse facilities. + Become cross-trained within the department and work in other departments as necessary, while identifying and addressing potential errors. + Adhere to company handbook and all departmental rules, including maintaining respect for fellow employees and prioritizing safety. + Maintain warehouse equipment as per schedule, report any equipment issues immediately, and keep a neat and organized work area. + Accept responsibility for actions and work performed, maintain a positive attitude, and function well in a team environment. + Participate in company-sponsored activities, including suggestion programs and quality training. + Perform other duties as required. **Essential Skills** + Experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts (1 year required). + Proficiency in packing, shipping, and receiving. + Ability to handle inventory, picking, and material handling using an RF scanner. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certification in forklift operation is preferred. + Strong communication skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to become a permanent employee within 3-6 months, with eligibility for two production bonuses every April and October. Located in Buffalo Grove, it is one of five facilities in the US, divided into manufacturing and production areas. The facility is extremely clean and organized, with automation playing a key role in operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
