Forklift Operator 2nd Shift
**Job Title: Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating stand-up forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in the unloading and loading of kegs, utilizing RF scanners, and managing inventory within our warehouse management system. Responsibilities + Assist in unloading and loading of kegs (new and used) when trucks arrive. + Operate a stand-up forklift efficiently and safely. + Utilize RF Scanner and WMS/SAP for inventory management. + Receive bin numbers and accurately locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area. + Be solution-oriented to figure out how to correctly locate and move materials in the stockroom. + Load and unload shipping trucks. + Prepare packages for shipping. + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime. Essential Skills + Experience operating forklifts, particularly stand-up models. + Proficiency in using RF scanners. + Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP. + Ability to lift cases up to 35 lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170 lbs. + Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Must be at least 21 years old to work onsite. + 2 years of warehouse experience. + Previous experience in the food and beverage industry preferred. + Forklift certification preferred (certification provided onsite). However, you may need to enter refrigerated areas to retrieve products. The 2nd shift operates from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
