Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for a 1st Shift position from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Saturday. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move products as per manufacturing schedules, ensuring direct materials are available for manufacturing and assembly, managing inventory, and loading/unloading materials onto trucks. Additionally, the operator will use overhead cranes effectively and practice proper rigging and lift techniques.
ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products.Ensure direct materials are available for manufacturing and assembly.Manage inventory pulls and inventory.Unload and load materials onto trucks or designated vehicles.Operate overhead cranes effectively.Practice proper rigging and lift techniques.Organize the Receiving Department area and assist stock pullers.Work Environment
Work in a clean and well-lit environment, where you will regularly stand, walk, use your hands, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, you may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role requires regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
