Job Description
We are seeking a skilled forklift mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, replacement, and troubleshooting on various models of material handling equipment, including propane and electric forklifts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of specific material handling equipment experience and must possess their own tools. Proficiency with data input and paperwork related to job requirements is essential. The role involves completing maintenance of material handling equipment at the internal customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet customer requirements.
Shift
Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, repair, and replacement on various models of material handling equipment.Troubleshoot issues with propane and electric forklifts.Complete maintenance tasks at customer locations efficiently and cost-effectively.Ensure all required data input and paperwork is accurately completed.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma, G.E.D., or tech school graduate preferred.Minimum three years of experience in repair and maintenance on material handling equipment.Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical and hydraulic system schematics.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.Capability to become certified to operate equipment.Willingness to frequently push, pull, kneel, bend, and reach.Possession of a valid Driver's License.Strong customer service skills and abilities.Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work independently and make decisions on daily tasks.Comfortable working alone in most locations.Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes inside warehouses with varying temperatures depending on the time of year. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 6am to 2:30pm, with some overtime required. You will need to be prepared for hot and cold temperatures and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending, and reaching.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
