Job Responsibilities:

General Job Duties:

Exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.To follow company policies and display conduct expected of DexSys employees as described in the employee handbook.To follow safety rules of the Company and work in a manner that is conductive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.Must be able to work overtime as needed in accordance with Company Policy.Cultivate a positive environment by professionally communicating and actively listening to DexSys team members and management.

Specific Job Duties:

Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts.Perform routine maintenance on forklifts.Must be able to repair a variety of different types of forklifts.Assist maintenance when needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Educational Requirements

Must have High School diploma or GED.Must have current forklift repair certification.

Experience Requirements

Minimum four (4) years experience working on a variety of forklifts.Preferred experience in Hyster/Yale forklift repair.

Physical Requirements

This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of 8 hours a day, the ability to lift up to 20 lbs on a frequent basis, and up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis. This person must also be able to work below the knees, and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. The ability to climb stairs is also required.
 

DexSys Training Requirements

You will receive training to perform your job on an on-going basis concurrent with DexSys business operations. Training areas will include safety, quality, continuous improvement and other job specific training that is determined to be an essential part of your job and DexSys business operations.
