Forklift Mechanic / Technician

Position is Elloree, SC

Schedule: 1st shift Wednesday- Sunday

Salary: Up to $62,000 per year (starting)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of forklift technician experience

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Mechanic/Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our material-handling equipment operates efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtimeRepair or replace worn components, including tires, brakes, batteries, and load-bearing wheelsMaintain detailed and accurate service records of inspections, repairs, and parts replacementsConduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulationsMonitor warehouse equipment and proactively report potential issues to the maintenance supervisorCollaborate with warehouse staff to address equipment needs and optimize performanceStay informed on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in forklift maintenanceEssential Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in forklift repair and maintenanceStrong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systemsAbility to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical circuits effectivelyFamiliarity with greasing, load-bearing wheels, and electrical wiringProficiency in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
