**Job Title:** Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator – 2nd Shift **Location:** San Antonio, TX 78219 **Shift:** 2nd Shift | 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM **Pay Rate:** $17.50/hour **Job Summary:** **Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator** involves operating industrial trucks and order pickers to safely transport and select products for customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other heavy machinery to move and handle materials. + Select and build customer orders by picking items from various inventory locations. + Review product loads for accuracy and ensure timely, complete delivery. + Perform routine maintenance on equipment (cleaning, fueling, lubricating). + Weigh and label materials/products, recording relevant data. + Communicate with team members to coordinate material handling activities. **Must-Have Skills:** + Forklift operating experience (stand-up, sit-down, or order picker). + Strong verbal communication and attention to detail. + Ability to work well in a team and problem-solve on the job. **Education & Safety Requirements:** + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Valid forklift certification required. + Familiarity with PPE and warehouse safety protocols. + Willingness to comply with and actively participate in all safety rules. + **Use of a fall protection harness is required** when operating elevated equipment like an order picker.
