Forklift Driver- Start ASAP
**Job Title: Forklift Driver** Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver in a busy distribution center where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics. You will be responsible for the transportation of goods, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities + Operate forklifts for nearly 90% of the workday to load and unload trucks. + Perform quality control on orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. + Receive products and organize them within the warehouse. + Consolidate pallets as needed. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience. + 2-5 years of experience with sit-down forklifts, electric or gas. + Experience in printing shipping labels through UPS, FedEx, or similar software. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is located in North Chicago with a facility that opened in March 2020, equipped with all new machinery. Although you will handle sealed drums, there is no direct contact with chemicals. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and Friday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Location North Chicago, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
