**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art warehouse facility. As a warehouse worker, you will play a key role in managing container and racking systems across our locations. This position involves handling, cleaning, sorting, and repairing containers and totes while ensuring a seamless flow of operations. **Responsibilities** + Manage the cleaning and processing of containers and totes, ensuring they are ready for use. + Operate a washing machine to load, unload, sort, stage, and scan totes while standing for the entire shift. + Process incoming totes and racks using a hand-scanner and remove manufacturer tags from containers. + Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers, with sizes ranging from 2x2 to 8x8. + Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, occasionally dismounting to handle paperwork and ensure accurate shipment of containers. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience. + Ability to pass a forklift test, including driving through cones and handling pallets. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime and availability on Saturdays. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in material handling and unloading. + Familiarity with operating forklifts, with a preference for candidates who have worked in similar environments. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive pay rates in a clean, modern, and organized facility. The environment is fast-paced, with temperatures maintained at 50+ degrees in winter and warmer in summer. The facility is kept clean with regular sweeping. Shifts vary: 1st Shift M-F 6a-2:30p, 2nd Shift M-F 2p-10:30p, 3rd Shift Sun-Thurs 9:30p-6a. Initial training and orientation occur at the East Moline location on the first shift **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
