Job Title: Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver for our facility in Delaware, Ohio. Join our team and contribute to the efficient movement and management of inventory in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Move inventory and materials across the facility.Stack and organize large bulk items.Dispose of trash appropriately.Pull inventory to prepare for shipment.Perform SKID Pickup.Take pictures of loaded freight.Apply labels to boxes.Communicate effectively with drivers.Load and unload trucks.Update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.Note and request any damaged materials or replacements needed.Read and verify paperwork accurately.Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

1+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.Valid driver's license.Proper warehouse safety knowledge while operating a forklift.Skills in shipping and receiving, packaging, and using a pallet jack.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience operating a sit-down forklift in tight spaces.Experience with shipping and receiving processes.

Work Environment

Work in a standard manufacturing facility that is non-climate controlled. The environment can be loud, and earplugs may be required for certain jobs. The current operating schedule includes overtime from 6AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday and 6AM-2:30PM on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
