Our client, Steel manufacturer in Auburn Hills is seeking a full time forklift operator to join their team. As a full time forklift operator, you will be part of the Shipping/Receiving department supporting the receiving dock. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, self motivated to complete tasks and communicates well with the team which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title: Full time forklift operator** **Location: Auburn Hills MI** **Pay Range: 17.50 hr based on experience** Shift: 7am-3pm Monday - Friday **What’s the Job?** + Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing + Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped + Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools and other stock items; distribute items to shipping team + Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic **What’s Needed?** + Experience loading and unloading trailersDock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry + Forklift experience in a freight or Less-than-Truckload (LTL) environment + The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator **What’s in it for me?** + full time schedule is convenient + great pay rate + potential for growth inside the facility If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
