Our client, a leader in RV Axle Manufacturing, is seeking a Forklift Material Handler to join their team. As a Forklift Material Handler, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing of high-quality axles. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a dependable work ethic, and a positive attitude which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Material Handler
**Location:** Elkhart, IN
**Pay Range:** $18.00/hr (Temp-to-Hire, with a raise to $19.60/hr upon permanent hire)
**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate a forklift safely to transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
+ Load and unload trucks, move materials to appropriate workstations, and stage items for production.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
+ Assist with general warehouse and production support as needed.
+ Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
**What's Needed?**
+ Must pass an on-site forklift test prior to starting.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
+ Previous forklift experience preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
+ Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
