**Job Title: Fork Lift Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Forklift Driver, you will be instrumental in supporting our production team by efficiently operating a forklift and assisting as a machine operator when needed. This role requires flexibility to work any day of the week and any time of the day, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklift professionally and accident-free, ensuring regular inspections.
+ Maintain and clean the forklift systematically.
+ Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate data entry.
+ Perform additional manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling inventory and cleaning.
+ Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
+ During seed delivery and return season, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
+ Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Professional operation of forklifts with attention to safety.
+ Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
+ Ability to accurately count inventory and read scales.
+ Capability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
+ Communication skills for working independently or as part of a team.
+ Ability to work in confined spaces with a forklift.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 1+ year of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Prior forklift certification is preferred.
+ Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
+ Reliable transportation to the work site.
+ Maintain a positive attitude, honesty, and respect for all.

**Work Environment**
Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the use of technology, such as PCs and scanners, to complete tasks efficiently. Be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Durant, IA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
