**Forklift Operator** Pay listed below **Responsibilities** + Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free, maintaining precise records of forklift inspections. + Conduct systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift. + Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry. + Perform additional manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling, inventory, and cleaning. + Keep the warehouse clean and tidy. + During seed delivery and return seasons, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations. + Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Ability to count accurately when moving inventory. + Ability to read scales. + Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented. + Alertness and awareness when driving the forklift safely. + Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. + Capability to work independently or as part of a team. + Ability to work in confined spaces with a forklift. + 1 year of forklift experience preferred. + 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. + Prior forklift certification is preferred. + Pass pre-employment screenings. + Reliable transportation to the site and ability to arrive at the work site as instructed. **Work Environment** The position involves rotating shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with up to 10-12 hours per day. Shift possibilities include Sunday-Thursday and Saturday-Friday, with a 2-3-2 rotation depending on the season. Enjoy shift differentials for hours worked between 2:00-10:00 pm and 10:00 pm-6:00 am. Embrace the opportunity to work with advanced technologies such as PCs and scanners to complete job tasks. + **$19/hour** + **during times of 6am-2pm.** + **$22/hour** + **during times of 2p-10p** + **$21/hour** + **during times of 10p-6a.** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Woodhull, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
