**Job Title: Civil Construction Specialist - Site and Utility Work** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Civil Construction Specialist, focusing on site and utility work. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing underground utility projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and profitably. With your leadership and organizational skills, you'll manage on-site operations, supervise crew members, and maintain effective communication with management. Your expertise in construction management software and budgeting will be essential in optimizing project schedules and resources. **Responsibilities** + Oversee the execution of underground utility projects ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. + Supervise crew members to ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and profitably. + Ensure construction projects are performed in accordance with company procedures, safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines. + Allocate general and daily responsibilities to crew and resolve problems when they arise. + Supervise the use of machinery and equipment. + Monitor crew attendance and performance, providing leadership through training, coaching, or reprimands. + Process and submit timecards for crew and report on progress to superintendents, managers, engineers, etc., daily. + Perform all other duties as assigned, both verbally and in written form. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a site or utility foreman. + Knowledge in trenching, excavation, confined spaces, and hazardous materials and atmospheres. + Ability to work in high-stress conditions and quickly changing environments. + Excellent communication and written skills. + Proficiency in filling out forms electronically using an iPad or iPhone. + Valid state-issued motor vehicle license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Additional experience in utility or civil construction. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a team that leads impactful projects, shaping infrastructure and enhancing community development.
