**Hiring a Foreman/Ironworker!**
**Job Description**
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced foreman specialized in steel erection to lead a crew in completing various projects efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel erection and/or metal building construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead and oversee the steel erecting crew on site.
+ Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
+ Perform labor activities, including working at various heights.
+ Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
+ Enforce safety regulations and conduct site inspections.
+ Communicate effectively with project managers and other trades.
+ Train and mentor junior ironworkers.
+ Manage tools, materials, and equipment on site.
+ Resolve on-site issues and make real-time decisions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working with steel erection and/or metal building construction.
+ Proven ability to lead and oversee construction crews.
+ Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Skilled in welding (stick/SMAW).
+ Strong understanding of construction safety practices.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
+ Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
+ Ability to travel as needed.
+ Willingness to learn new skills.
+ Strong work ethic.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Blueprint reading.
+ Experience leading construction crews.
+ Welding (stick/SMAW).
+ Construction safety knowledge.

Note: This position requires travel. The company does work in Washington and other states in the US.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
