JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate will own the overall strategic customer relationship for Unilever and be responsible for leading a team of CBMs and Account Managers to deliver of Turnover, Profitability and Business Building Terms targets within those customers.
This person is a key member of the Foods Poland leadership team and 1Unilever corporate Customer development Leadership team leading for and contributing to the design of the future direction of the Foods business & leading for the CD Vision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead customer strategy development and major customer and category initiatives
Owns overall Foods plan for Modern trade customer group (annual JBPs, senior contact matrix)
Responsible for driving incremental value at the customer level
Lead the development of customer strategic business plan and joint business plan, working closely with the BUs (Business Units)
Lead and design annual negotiations within agreed framework
Be the voice of the Customer back into the BUs
Deliver through team the Perfect store execution in-store and online, in line with the Joint Business Plan
Deliver key Category Team initiatives at Customer e.g. Price Increases, Brand Activation, Innovations.
Own, build and maintain strong senior level relationships:
Develop strong relationships with both internal & external customers
Own the most senior Unilever & Customer relationship on all categories – Be the face of Unilever Poland with the customer, Be at the top table of suppliers for your customer(s)
Work with the CBMs, KAMs and Customer Operations Team to ensure significant commercial, customer service and finance issues/opportunities are resolved/exploited efficiently and that we do what we say.
Be accountable for the financial performance of categories within area of responsibility
Plan and supervise annual, quarter and monthly business targets delivery
Deliver Turnover, Customer Profitability and TMI budgets
Lead and own our Growth Strategy with customers to win share whilst delivering profitability objectives for both Unilever and Customer.
CD Leadership Team member
Leading and inspiring direct team of subordinates to deliver outstanding results
Leading and building core and future Customer development capabilities of direct Foods and indirect 1 Unilever CD teams
Lead and shape talent agenda and CD talent funnel for Foods and 1 Unilever CD team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years in a customer facing role
Strong track record working with and leading relationships with large customers
Experience in negotiating with strategic partners (in a local and international environment)
Experience in creating, developing and implementing a Customer/Channel strategy in line with business investment plans (IBP).
Consistent delivery of high-quality results in difficult trading environments
Working in a Polish business culture
Leadership team and Leadership coaching
Data analysis, visualization and decision making
Business Acumen – at the commercial end of our business, it’s critical you are fluent with the P&L management, and particularly the customer and marketing investment models. It would be ideal if you are also fluent in digital marketing & sales, and data driven decision making
Strategic breadth and systems thinking – you can think across functions and across time to anticipate change and prepare plans to help the business to grow long term
People Leadership – you will know how to identify and nurture talent – you’ll be able to give tough performance feedback, but also great developmental tasks and assignments
Performance coaching – you will have delivered team and personal feedback in a way that grows individuals and helps the business perform better
Internal and External influencing – you will be comfortable with working with teams with differing priorities internally and externally to deliver business results.
Fluent in English & Polish (verbal and written)
