**Job Title: Food Service Coordinator** **Job Description** The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating the purchase of food items from suppliers to meet the needs of a restaurant, catering company, or other food service establishment. This role ensures quality, quantity, and price are optimized while adhering to budget constraints and maintaining inventory levels. **Responsibilities** + Identify and evaluate vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. + Compare prices and negotiate contracts with suppliers. + Manage deliveries and ensure all supplies meet quality standards. + Monitor product quality and adhere to food safety standards. + Review invoices to ensure orders are accurate and complete. + Maintain inventory levels and optimize purchasing processes. **Essential Skills** + Experience in foodservice purchasing and receiving. + Proficiency in data entry and invoicing. + Knowledge of food safety and quality control standards. + Ability to inspect food deliveries for quality and accuracy. + Strong vendor and supplier management skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in vendor/supplier management. + Proficiency in quality and inventory control. + Understanding of food safety regulations. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team that values professional growth and development.
