Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician who will play a vital role in maintaining food safety systems on the production line. This position involves oversight of packaging work, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating closely with the production team. While prior experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is beneficial, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates initiative and performs well in interviews.
Responsibilities
Maintain and oversee food safety systems on the production line.Ensure production team members’ packaging work meets standards.Collaborate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth operations.Assist with computer-based tasks and training programs for new team members.Take a leadership role in ensuring all operations are running correctly.Essential Skills
1.5+ years of basic quality experience in a manufacturing environment.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to train on measurement tools.Experience in quality assurance within a food manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with pH meters is a plus but not required; training will be provided.Production experience preferred.Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance experience is also applicable.Basic knowledge of food manufacturing, food safety, and quality control.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a salsa and hot sauce manufacturing facility that is climate controlled. You will be interacting with a team of 20-25 production people in a food production environment. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3pm, with mandatory shifts once a month on Friday. Enjoy a one-hour lunch break with additional breaks throughout the day. Dress code includes closed-toe shoes, t-shirts, pants, and a jacket if desired due to cooler temperatures. Hairnets are required in certain areas.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
