**Job Title: Food Prepper/Cook** **Job Description** We're working with a respected healthcare facility in Gardner, KS to find a reliable and motivatedFood Prepper/Cook. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is comfortable with both food preparation and general labor tasks. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with accuracy and efficiency. + Unload deliveries and stock kitchen supplies (primarily on Fridays). + Follow simple recipes and manage kitchen operations during weekend shifts. + Lead and guide a team to stay on task. + Support weekly meal prep and assist the cook on Mondays and Tuesdays. + Perform cleaning duties, dishwashing, and general kitchen maintenance. + Participate in assembly line food service and inventory tasks. **Essential Skills** + Prior experience in food prep and cooking across multiple meal periods. + Ability to lead and manage a team effectively. + Strong organizational skills for inventory and stocking. + Comfortable with general labor tasks such as unloading and cleaning. **Additional Skills Qualifications** + Experience working in a hospital environment is a plus. + Ability to work in a climate-controlled setting. + Familiarity with assembly line food serving is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the opportunity for a raise once you become a direct hire.
