Food & Beverage Supervisor - (Half Moon Cay - Bahamas)

**Job Description**
The Food Supervisor is responsible maintaining a sanitary and efficient operation of all food service outlets at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destinations. This position will ensure that each outlet adheres to proper food preparation and portion control to ensure guest service satisfaction is achieved at the highest levels.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITES:**
**1. Operations & Team Management**
+ Oversee day-to-day operations of all food service outlets, including pre- and post-service activities.
+ Manage vendor scheduling, staff training, and team support.
+ Monitor service areas and customer engagement.
+ Maintain inventory levels and address customer requests or concerns, escalating as needed.
**2. Compliance & Quality Control**
+ Enforce company policies, safety procedures, dress code, and service standards.
+ Ensure all customer and employee interactions meet organizational expectations.
+ Follow all applicable safety, environmental, and operational policies.
+ Oversee food preparation and service areas for quality, efficiency, and safety.
**3. Reporting & Maintenance**
+ Complete operational logs and report issues to management.
+ Maintain food quality standards and assist with inspections.
+ Manage vendor performance and contract timelines.
+ Escalate customer issues promptly when necessary.
**4. Other Duties**
+ Support management with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
**SKILLS SPECIFICS:**
+ Guest Facing Experience
+ Must have strong customer service skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and think critically.
**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism or equivalent experience is required; or a related field is a plus
+ Food handler’s certification.
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience working in food, beverage or concession environment in a Hotel or related industry
+ Customer service experience gained in a similar role is required
+ Previous work experience preferred.
**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Fluency in conversational English
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Must be physically fit.
+ Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
+ May need to stand for long periods of time.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
+ Strong planning and coordination skills, especially in handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
+ May be requested to work a shift schedule while at any of the destinations.
