This role will be responsible for overseeing operations across Luci, The Douglas Club, Meetings & Events and In Room Dining.
About the Role
Our Food & Beverage Manager will be instrumental in building a thriving workplace culture that has a strong focus on developing their team. You will manage and support your teams with daily activities and ensure consistent levels of service are met to the highest quality. You will also work closely with the commercial team to formulate the F&B strategy for the hotel and be the driving force behind our financial results. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Be operationally hands on to manage daily Food and Beverage operationsA strong Customer focused approach to serviceLead a team, ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you doUse your knowledge of local trends to plan menus, and create action plans to achieve financial targetsWork closely with the Executive Chef to ensure synergy between the food, dining and service concept across all outletsOptimise sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for actionUnderstand and own your financials. Be a numbers person and challenge revenue driving opportunities through promotionsResolve conflicts and issues where necessaryStrong communication with the hotel team to ensure success as a wider teamTrain and develop team members, to create a strong line of succession planningEvaluate levels of guest satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement
What are we looking for?
Experience in management roles across key F&B services including: meeting and eventsStrong leadership skills in hotel operationsDemonstrated success in the Food and Beverage industry, and an ability to meet financial targetsA service orientated individual who is a passionate food and wine enthusiast, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiencesHigh-level of market awareness with an entrepreneurial mindPrompt and systematic decision-making skills with analytical powerGood delegation and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work efficiently under pressureWell-presented, adaptable. organised and calm personality
