Food and Beverage Supervisor

A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations of Food and Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.



What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will communicate and delegate tasks effectively to the team to achieve departmental goals. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

Supervise daily operations of the bar and Food & Beverage outlets to ensure smooth service deliveryPrepare and serve alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks and special guest requests

Demonstrate strong knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail-making techniques

 

Communicate and delegate tasks effectively to the teamEnsure compliance of brand standards and operational proceduresManage guest queries promptly and professionallyRepresent team needs and support a positive workplace culture.Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targetsSupport training, coaching and development of team membersAssist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibilityComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislationBe environmentally awareAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

What are we looking for?

A Food and Beverage Supervisor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Minimum 2 years experiences in leadership position within Food and Beverage department.Strong knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktail preparation.Committed to delivering high levels of customer servicePositive attitude and excellent communication skillsFlexibility to adapt to different work situationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Previous experience in hotel industry

Holder of, or currenlty in posession of, an LCQ Certificate

 

Graduate of EBS or an equivalent professional bartending program

Willingness to develop team members and self
