Summary
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Food & Beverage Lead Worker at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. This is a part-time, hands-on position assisting in the setup, event day operations, and closing of catering and concessions events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assigning tasks to team membersLeading pre-shift meetings and communicating expectationsTraining new hires and volunteers on company policies, safety, customer service, food handling, POS operation, and banquet executionReinforcing operational standards, procedures, and alcohol complianceProviding ongoing coaching and feedbackCoordinating all food and beverage logistics before, during, and after eventsEnsuring timely and complete setup and teardown of stations and event spacesMonitoring timing and execution in collaboration with kitchenEnsuring high-quality guest service at all timesHandling guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionallyPromoting upselling and product knowledge to enhance servicePerforming inventory checks before, during, and after eventsMonitoring and reporting low stock levelsEnsuring proper equipment use, cleanliness, and maintenanceEnforcing food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service protocolsMaintaining clean and safe work areasMonitoring and documenting temperature logs and health code requirementsActing as a liaison between teams (kitchen, F&B management, venue management)Coordinating event details with clients, chefs, and food service managersMaintaining clear written and verbal communicationCompleting paperwork like stand sheets, captain’s reports, and event summariesTracking perishable items, spoilage, and financial discrepanciesAdapting to last-minute changes or special event needsTroubleshooting issues with staff, operations, or inventoryWillingness to assist in various roles (cooking, cleaning, running, etc.)Understanding and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Concessions Event Orders (CEOs)Setting up and breaking down event spacesSupporting buffet and bar presentation and serviceSupervisory Responsibilities
Supervising multiple teams including concessions and catering staff, banquet servers, non-profit groups, cashiers, and bartenders.

Education and/or Experience
One (1) year of work experience in service-oriented, catering, and concessions environment is preferredSkills and Abilities
