**About the role :**
As a CBRE FM Engineering Ops Manager, you will lead the team responsible for providing technical operational support to the account staff in the Durham, NC location.
They are tasked with coordinating all aspects related to the maintenance, repair, and support of equipment and systems.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and develop the teams daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department goals. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Manage relationships with clients, partners, and other team members.
+ Handle the profits and losses of the department or specific division.
+ Develop goals and initiatives to advise the department's course.
+ Guide managers in implementing company initiatives and policies.
+ Evaluate company processes and procedures to solve issues within them.
+ Ensure business operations are implemented based on established procedures.
+ Keep track of regulator records and paperwork.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
+ Apply knowledge of own subject area and how own field integrates with team members to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Identify, solve, and resolve day-to-day and moderately sophisticated issues that may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
**What You'll Need**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
+ Ability to guide the exchange of critical, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
**What You'll Need:**
+ **High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.**
+ **Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.**
+ **Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.**
+ **Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.**
+ **Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, manage work orders through the CMMS, Teams, etc.**
+ **Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.**
