Floor Inspector
Job Description

Quality Inspectors perform quality checks on manufacturing processes and products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.

ResponsibilitiesUse specialized equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure and verify product dimensions and tolerances.Document and report any defects or non-conformities discovered during inspection, and work with production staff to resolve any issues.Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot quality issues, and work with other departments to implement solutions.Interpret drawings and determine part conformity using knowledge of standard GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Essential SkillsProven quality experience in the manufacturing industry.Detail-oriented with experience interpreting drawings and/or written work instructions to complete a quality task.Proficient in inspection equipment such as depth micrometer, calipers, height gauge, and tape measure.Basic skills in mathematics and geometrics.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Availability to work overtime, including Saturdays.

Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with deburring and machining is advantageous.Experience in assembly is preferred.

Available Shift and Pay1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm with heavy OT.Right now, they are working every Saturday and a lot of people are deciding to work until 430-5pm Mon-Fri.2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am with heavy OT.Right now, they're working most weekends + 10 hour shifts$20-24, based on experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
