Where You Will Work:

Inpatient float is NEW to Aurora Medical Center - Manitowoc County!!!!

Being a part of the float team allows you to experience the best of every department and utilize your skills where they are needed most. This unique role offers:

Variety: Float between Med/Surg, Stepdown, Same Day Surgery, and assist in the Emergency Department supporting boarder patients.

Growth: Expand your clinical skills across multiple specialties.

We’re Looking For:

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Inpatient RN experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Located along the shores of Lake Michigan, Aurora Medical Center - Manitowoc County features state-of-the-art facilities and patient rooms with views of either the surrounding lake or gardens.

Our cancer and cardiac care programs have received national recognition for their best practices and quality of care.

You can also count on Aurora Health Center, located on the same campus, to offer convenient care in conjunction with the hospital. Specialists in a variety of fields see patients right next door to the hospital and offer in-hospital consultations.
