Float Phlebotomist
Job Title: PhlebotomistJob Description

The Phlebotomist will work in a back-office environment, engaging with 10-20 patients per day. This medium-paced setting demands hands-on involvement in various tasks, ranging from blood draws to comprehensive processing.

ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture procedures and blood draws.Collect specimens and ensure their proper handling.Spin and centrifuge specimens as required.Freeze or send out samples for further analysis.Update patient charts and perform data entry.Verify billing and insurance information.Essential SkillsCompleted Phlebotomy schooling.1+ years of experience in phlebotomy, particularly in processing samples.Proficiency in performing blood draws and venipuncture.Ability to verify billing and insurance information.Additional Skills & QualificationsPhlebotomy Certification is advantageous.Experience with computer systems such as Atlas and Sunquest.Friendly and outgoing personality.Work Environment

The position involves a 1st shift schedule, with the Phlebotomist floating between various locations in Lima, OH, and surrounding areas. Mileage will be reimbursed. The work environment allows for independence and the opportunity to establish a personal work routine, as the Phlebotomist is often the sole practitioner on site. This role provides a unique chance to be specialized within a practice and make a significant impact.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lima, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
