The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a Flightline Readiness Tech Inspector Manager (Level K) located in Seattle, WA to oversee our flightline operations and aircraft management of deliveries.
You will be responsible for daily crew supervision and aircraft management. Primary responsibility will be aircraft status, flight release, aircraft ticketing, and repair station activity. This is a 2nd shift position.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads & supports success of team activities to ensure air vehicles are completed & pass certification for airworthinessTeam activities include overseeing final component installation; systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair; preflight and post-flight checks; release for flight; and preparation for deliveryInterfaces & collaborates with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptanceDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsProvides education and coachingAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and employeesProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, leads, develops and motivates employeesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working in manufacturing or flightline operationsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
