PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to find an experienced Flight Readiness Technician to support critical 787 and 777 aircraft modification programs.

What You’ll Do

As a Flight Readiness Technician, you’ll be a key contributor on the flight line, performing complex maintenance and modification work on aircrafts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Performing Service Bulletin installations and functional checks on aircraft mechanical systems

Troubleshooting aircraft systems and completing maintenance tasks per Boeing and customer requirements

Supporting 787 and 777 aircraft modification projects

Conducting proficient flight deck operations across Boeing models

Performing software loading and system verification

Maintaining a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment

Operating equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts

Assisting with the 787 Storage Program as needed (additional training provided)

Required Qualifications

Valid A&P Mechanic Certification

7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience

Total knowledge of aircraft systems

Proficiency in troubleshooting aircraft systems and flight deck operations

Software loading experience

High School Diploma or GED

Meets all RS requirements

Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, Monday–Friday

This role involves extended time on your feet, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 35 lbs.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Avionics, Structures, or Interiors

Background supporting widebody aircraft programs

Education and experience may include vocational training, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree combined with relevant work experience

Pay Details: $48.41 per hour
