**Flexographic Press Operator** **Location:** Everett, WA **Pay:** $25+, depending on experience **Shift:** 5 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F **Job Description** Join our team as a Flexographic Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in our production process by operating flexo printing presses to create custom labels for diverse industries, including wineries, breweries, distilleries, household products, personal care, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors. **Responsibilities** + Load dies into press and install print cylinder on shaft, followed by installation in press. + Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with prescribed inks. + Start press, adjusting speed and alignment of stock to the print cylinder as necessary. + Engage print cylinders and adjust printing impression as needed, place print cylinders lead-to-lead, and run down approval strip. + Cut sample of approval strip from printed roll and inspect for imperfections, making adjustments as necessary. + Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies as needed, performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as required. + Mix inks to produce and maintain desired colors and viscosity. + Keep work areas clear and organized while maintaining housekeeping standards. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of one year of experience in flexographic printing press operation. + Ability to understand measurements and basic math. + Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED, or one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Proficiency in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, paid holidays, competitive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and company-paid short-term disability insurance and life insurance.
