Work You’ll Do

Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from strategy formulation through to design, development and the deployment of solutions. These project teams will often include leaders and specialists from other business and technical disciplines from within the consulting practice and from our clients. A focus on teamwork is therefore critical. As a revenue recognition solution expert, you will bring considerable revenue management expertise to help design, develop and implement revenue recognition solutions to transform client’s revenue automation processes. You will interact daily with key business and IT executives and lead multiple teams in various strategy and implementation activities.

 Responsibilities will include:

Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors and build a trusted advisor relationship.Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, product simplification and alignment, capability design and planning, technology/vendor selection and planning and business launch readinessBusiness Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategiesPeople Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

Qualifications

Required:

Revenue Recognition Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in revenue recognition within professional services or industry, focused on delivering cloud-based revenue recognition solutionsRevenue Recognition Standards Expertise: At least 3 years of experience applying ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards, including leading practices and facilitating solutions for complex client business requirements.Lead-to-Cash and Record-to-Report: Minimum 2 years of experience designing or optimizing lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end system architectures.Implementation Experience: At least 2 end-to-end implementations of revenue recognition solutions (e.g., Zuora RevPro, Oracle NetSuite ARM, Aptitude RevStream).A Bachelor’s degreeAbility to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

SDLC Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Design, Build, Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Support. Agile/Scrum Methodologies: At least 2 years of practical experience applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver technology or business solutions.Architecture Assessments & Roadmaps: Minimum 2 years of experience conducting architecture assessments and developing implementation roadmaps for revenue recognition solutions.Cloud/SaaS Revenue Recognition Solutions: At least 2 years of experience designing and configuring cloud or SaaS-based revenue recognition solutions in complex, multi-entity environments.Minimum 2 years of experience designing integrations with upstream systems (e.g., billing, invoicing) and downstream ERP applications (e.g., General Ledger).At least 2 years of experience identifying and implementing creative solutions within configurable cloud systems or through customization of boundary applications.Minimum 1 year of experience managing teams of 3-5 resources, including responsibility for team performance and deliverables.An advanced degreeInformation for applicants with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.html

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,175 to $218,625.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
