Flex Tooling - 181 - 1st Shift
**Pay: 23-25 an hour** **Hours: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift** **Job Title: Flex Tooling Associate** **Location: New Bedford, MA** The Flex Tooling Associate is responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks throughout the cup manufacturing process. This role supports production by preparing materials, machining and inspecting components, and ensuring tooling meets quality and operational standards. The Flex Tooling Associate works independently and collaboratively to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output. **Primary Responsibilities** + Hob cups for experimental and production cavities. + Prepare cup blanks for the hobbing process. + Perform visual and mechanical inspection of incoming and outgoing cavities. + Cut raw materials for use in machining processes. + Deliver finished cavities and parts to various ball plants and other facilities as required. + Complete final operations on silicone bronze mold cavities. + Execute multiple assignments throughout the cup manufacturing process. + Follow all quality, safety, and operational procedures in accordance with company standards. + Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. **Requirements** **Education & Technical Skills:** + Vocational school background preferred. + Ability to read and use basic machine shop measuring tools. + Machine shop techniques and familiarity with drills, lathes, millers, and other equipment. + Knowledge of hydraulic and/or electrical schematics. + Ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturing/equipment specifications. + Ability to perform basic math calculations. + Computer literacy for documentation, quality checks, and equipment interfaces. + Ability to use and understand measuring devices and tolerances. + Ability to learn and apply quality standards for workmanship and product output. + Ability to obtain forklift, pallet jack, and/or man-lift certification as required. **Additional Requirements:** + Must have a valid driver's license. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. + Demonstrated reliability and adherence to attendance expectations. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. + Respect for organizational policies, procedures, Safety, and Quality standards. + Effective communication skills with peers, team leaders, and managers. + Must pass all Health Services testing requirements for the position.
