Job DutiesGeisinger is seeking a Pulmonary physician for flex shifts at Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger Community Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Job Description:
Weekend shifts (typically 1/month) on inpatient consult service8:00 am-5:00 pm rounding on patients on the pulmonary consultation listPlus phone call after hours for sick calls and from the Emergency Department; not frequent but must be within 30 minutes of the hospitalTypical cases: COPD, exacerbation, pneumonia, pleural effusion, respiratory failure, etcAbility to do bronchoscopy and thoracentesis is requiredArea Highlights:
