Flex Fab Operator
Job Title: Flex Fab OperatorJob Description

The Flex Fab Operator is responsible for executing die cutting, punching, CNC drilling/routing, and flex special operations using the designated equipment to ensure efficient production processes.

ResponsibilitiesSet up various steel-rule dies on Hytron equipment for die cut operations.Configure various hard tool dies on pneumatically controlled kick presses for punch operations.Locate and complete corresponding production control work sheets for jobs set up for punch and die cut operations.Perform drilling and routing of materials using Excellon machines.Conduct frequent measuring tasks to ensure product conformance using specialized measuring equipment.Document measurements and trends according to production control worksheet and traveler review instructions.Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department lead.Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance as indicated on the Process Control Checklist and maintain workspace in a safe and respectable manner.Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.Collaborate with peers and leadership to meet production demands.
Essential SkillsProficiency in fabrication and machine operation.Experience with CNC machines and production processes.Ability to fabricate sheet metal.Understanding of blueprints and use of hand tools.
Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical capacities.Strong time management skills while completing tasks thoroughly with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to read instructions and production control worksheets and write legibly.Quality-oriented mindset.Basic math skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.90/hr.
