Fleet Technician
**Job Title: Fleet Technician** **Job Description** Work independently while performing preventive maintenance and repairs utilizing advanced technology and programs. Expand your skills by working on diverse fleet equipment including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts. Diagnose vehicle failures, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed, while maintaining detailed documentation and records. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance using voice applications and various diagnostic tools. + Work on a variety of fleet equipment including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts. + Diagnose failures and perform repair tasks including disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts. + Maintain vehicle records and pre-trip checklists. + Respond to service calls and adhere to DOT regulations. + Collaborate with the team maintaining one of the largest fleets in North America. **Essential Skills** + Expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair. + Experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. + Proficient in fleet maintenance and hydraulics. + Ability to work with internal combustible engines. + Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must possess a valid CDL or obtain one within 6 months. + Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test. + Ability to pass Forklift Driving Skills test. + Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems. + Proficiency in computer usage for diagnostics and maintenance tasks. + Understanding of manufacturing standards and electronics. + Ability to drive trucks requiring Class A or B CDL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
