What You’ll Tackle:Diagnose and repair diesel buses and support vehicles with speed and accuracy.Perform preventive maintenance to keep the fleet road-ready and reliable.Troubleshoot complex systems—mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air.Conduct safety inspections and ensure full compliance with DOT and FTA standards.Respond to road calls and execute emergency repairs under pressure.Maintain detailed service records using advanced fleet management software.What You Bring:High school diploma or GED; technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.2+ years of hands-on experience in diesel maintenance (transit or heavy-duty preferred).Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.Deep knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, and electrical systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.What You’ll Get:Competitive hourly wage based on experience and certifications.Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Paid time off, holidays, and uniform allowance.Ongoing training and real opportunities for career advancement.A workplace that values public service, sustainability, and your growth.The Mission:

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
