**Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor** **Job Description** The Maintenance Supervisor will manage a team of mechanics and leads, overseeing two shifts and being on-call as needed. The role involves overseeing a fleet of up to 60 vehicles, ranging from diesel to alternative fuel trucks. Responsibilities extend to maintaining equipment and machinery at post collection facilities. The supervisor will ensure that all repairs and maintenance are conducted in compliance with safety standards and federal and state regulations. Additionally, planning and scheduling repair work to ensure timely completion and minimize lost productivity within the shop is essential. **Responsibilities** + Manage a team of mechanics and leads across two shifts. + Oversee the maintenance of a fleet of up to 60 vehicles, including diesel and alternative fuel trucks. + Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards, as well as federal and state regulations. + Provide direction to a group of technicians for repair and maintenance tasks. + Plan and schedule repair work to ensure timely completion and reduce lost productivity. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of management experience in supervision. + 5+ years of experience as a Diesel Technician. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Military experience is beneficial. + Experience with bussing companies and maintenance supervision. + Lockout and tag out knowledge. + Troubleshooting skills. + T Master Certified. + T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension and Steering certifications. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that offers job security with no layoffs during the pandemic.
