**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Flat Laser Operators** for projects located in the **Rock Valley, IA area** . This is a third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is **$27/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Flat Laser Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Operate Mitsubishi fiber laser systems with automation + Download and run layout programs + Use automation to load and move raw material onto the laser bed + Verify correct material is being cut + Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint tolerances and are burr-free + Perform routine machine maintenance, including: + Cleaning laser bed slats + Removing slag from beneath the machine + Operate a forklift + Occasionally operate an overhead crane **Requirements** + Proven experience operating flat laser systems (Mitsubishi preferred) + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances + Forklift experience required (overhead crane experience a plus) + Pass a drug screen and background check **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
