Job Purpose
The primary role of the Fixed Income Analyst is to oversee the evaluation process for corporate credit instruments as part of ICE Data Service’s Corporate Evaluations Group. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets, particularly Investment Grade Corporate debt, is a must.
Responsibilities
Daily evaluation of fixed income securities focusing on investment grade debt using proprietary pricing modelsInterpretation of market data and applying to the evaluation processMonitoring and analyzing news and market volatility to ensure timely responsiveness to changing market conditionsFull understanding of pricing model and the variables that affect evaluationsFrequent collaboration with development and product management teams on model and workflow enhancementsResponding to critical daily client inquiries and challengesProviding detailed pricing analysis on due diligence calls with clients and account managersResearching and furthering specialist knowledge of assigned marketsUndertaking of ad-hoc projects as directed by managementKnowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) a mustStrong comprehension of global financial markets, particularly an understanding of market forces that impact fixed income pricingKnowledge of the UAT product lifecycle is preferredKnowledge of practical applications of statistical analysisAbility to collaborate with business analyst and product development teamsCapacity to work under stringent time constraints, multi-task and prioritize workloadCapability to digest market information and articulate in a structured and concise mannerProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SQL and Python skills a plus but not requiredTeam player with the willingness to take direction from senior managementExcellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skillsIndependent self-starter, able to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectivesNew York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $82,000 - $112,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
