We are seeking an experienced fitter/fabricator with expertise in MIG and TIG weldingThe ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to interpret blueprints for fitting complex parts, particularly large structural components up to 30 feet in lengthThis role requires comfort with moving around and working in tight spaces, as well as proficiency in welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and steel

Job Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints to fit and fabricate complex partsPerform MIG and TIG welding, including setting up the machineFit structural weldments such as beams, tubes, and platesWork with overhead cranes, HI Lo's, grinders, hand grinders, and straightening pressEngage in prototype work, particularly in aerospace or defense industries

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in fitting structural weldments5+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprintsProficiency in MIG and TIG weldingAbility to pass a MIG and TIG weld test for structural welders

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
