**Job Title: Fitter** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled fitter with strong experience in industrial fitting, blueprint reading, and fabricating. This role requires someone who can effectively transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on various surfaces, while also possessing solid math and geometry skills. Experience in fitting structural steel is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in carbon steel flux core welding, grinding, beveling, and valve teardown. **Responsibilities** + Transfer blueprints to full-size layouts on the floor or table. + Perform fitting tasks, particularly with structural steel. + Conduct welding using carbon steel flux core techniques. + Engage in grinding, beveling, and tearing down old valves. + Understand and interpret weld symbols and dimensions in blueprints. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial fitting experience. + 3+ years of blueprint reading. + 3+ years of fabricating experience. + Strong fitting and layout skills. + Solid math and geometry skills. + Understanding of weld symbols and dimensions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in Mig welding and flux core welding. + Proficiency in tack welding and fabrication. **Why Work Here?** We offer a comprehensive benefits package after the probation period, including medical and dental insurance, a 401K with company match, and paid time off (1 week after 6 months).
