**Job Title: Fitter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled fitter to perform structural fitting on large boiler framework components. The role involves the layout and fitting of parts according to blueprints, assisting with pre-fabrication work, and utilizing an overhead crane for various tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform structural fitting on large boiler framework components.
+ Layout and fit parts according to blueprints and specifications.
+ Assist with pre-fabrication work as needed, including drilling holes and cutting parts.
+ Utilize an overhead crane for moving and assembling components.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a fitter/fabricator.
+ Proficiency in layout and fitting metals.
+ Knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Experience with MIG welding on aluminum.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in a structural welding environment.
+ Ability to accurately read blueprints and weld symbols.

**Work Environment**
The work primarily takes place in a fabrication facility located in Vancouver, where large industrial boilers and kilns are manufactured. The facility supports a collaborative and safety-focused work culture, with installations occurring at various large plants across the country.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
