What You’ll Be Doing
At CIBC, we are on a mission to build the relationship-focused bank of the future and we are looking for self-identified Indigenous talent (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) to join our Innovation and Technology team.
This is a general applicant portal for Indigenous talent (First Nations, Metis and Inuit) to apply to opportunities in Innovation and Technology, it is not tied to one specific job, rather it is an opportunity to connect with us and discover where your talents fit at CIBC.
As part of our Innovation and Technology team, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and delivering solutions that enhance the banking experience for our clients. Here are some examples of the types of roles we frequently hire for:
Application Developer: Work on developing, testing, and implementing cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to design and build personalized banking solutions that transform the way people bank.
Business Systems Analyst: Act as a bridge between business and technology, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting end-to-end project implementation. You’ll help create innovative systems that improve client experiences.
Project Coordinator: Support project managers by tracking progress, managing schedules, and reconciling project financials. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Project Manager: Lead complex technology projects, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure project milestones are met. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions.
If your skills fall outside of these areas, don’t worry—we’re always looking for talented individuals with diverse technical expertise. Whether you specialize in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or another area of technology, we’d love to hear from you.
At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Work arrangements (on-site, hybrid, or remote) will be discussed during your interview.

Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical skills to develop, implement, or manage technology solutions.
Problem Solving: Use your critical thinking skills to analyze challenges and create effective solutions.
Adaptability: Embrace change and stay ahead of evolving technologies to deliver your best work.
Relationship Building: Build trust and strong relationships with your team and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
