Main Job Purpose

The First Line Manager (FLM) will oversee operations, manning adjustments and production monitoring and warehouse operations. To ensure that production concerns are given proper attention, analyzed and reported in real time.

 

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be:

Accomplish manning completion every shift to consider all possible manning shortage issues and rotations required to ensure no production stoppagesEnsure personnel compliance to company rules and regulations, safety/quality protocols, SOPs, production agreements, etcBe the primary interface between Management and Shopfloor personnel; understand, compile, relay all production and engineering-related concerns to the proper channel to ensure actions are listed down and prioritized based on risk and production impactRespond to equipment breakdowns by activating engineering technicians and contractors, ensuring resumption of operation at the soonest possible time, at highest safety levels, and of reasonable costEnsure all monitoring sheets, inventories, safety checklists are done every shiftReport the shiftly output and production related losses to the whole production and engineering teamConduct toolbox meetings and weekly circle meetings to shopfloorAccomplish proactive RCA (root cause analysis) on-site & in-shift of all production/safety related lossesEnsure that the equipment setpoint and standards are maintained and that all machines are operated at its optimum settingEnsure that all major changes that the operator or factory crew will do is aligned with him and is diligently recorded for cascade to other work shifts and to site managementEnsure that the production plan is met and drive manufacturing excellence targets: OEE, OR by ensuring optimal equipment performanceEnsure that the declared budget for the production shift is metEnsure that Autonomous maintenance (CILT) is applied and is done at the standards setDrive opportunities for improvement and focused improvement projects to lower cost, lower waste and increase productivityDrive the increase in safety engagements of self and shopfloor to prevent accidentsCascade and implement run strategies and projects to the management and production teamsIdentify reporting personnel skill gaps, craft training plans, monitor development of all reporting personnelExecute innovations, savings, safety, quality, productivity savings projects to shopfloor and plantAttend weekly planning and handshake with planning teamDrive autonomous maintenance activities to ensure machines are running based on desired efficiency

 

Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemical EngineeringWith 1 to 3 years of experience in a factory/production settingMust be comfortable with numbers and analyticsAbility to follow systematic instructions (e,g. flow chart, simple logic)Project Management, Pollution Control, OSH, TPM knowledge is a plusGood stakeholder management skills and able to effectively engage with factory employeesHas a proactive mindset in process development and improvements including cost savings and special project deliveryMust be open to work on a shifting basis, flexible to rotate to other shift schedules.Has strong command of English and Filipino language, Communication and Presentation skills must be presentOpen for fresh graduates with good leadership skills and internship experience in a production / factory settingCan work with different Digital applications (eg. PowerBI, Azure, Flow, High Byte)
