Fire Sprinkler Service Tech
Job Description This Fire Sprinkler Service Tech role is responsible for performing service, troubleshooting, and repair work on a wide range of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre‑action, and associated valves, piping, controls, compressors, and fire pumps. The technician will diagnose issues, complete system repairs, make component adjustments or replacements, test system functionality, document all work performed, and ensure all activities align with NFPA standards and local code requirements. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in the field under varying conditions, communicate effectively with customers, respond to emergency service calls when needed, and accurately maintain reports, tools, parts, and service vehicles. Skills and Requirements - 2–5 years of hands‑on experience servicing fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, and pre‑action systems, valves, compressors, and fire pumps. - Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform repairs, system testing, and leak diagnostics using hand and power tools. - Working knowledge of NFPA 25 and related standards plus the ability to complete accurate service documentation and reports. - Valid driver’s license and ability to work extended or emergency hours as needed, including early mornings, nights, or weekends.
