**Company Urgently Hiring Fire Sprinkler Inspectors!!** **Description** Performing onsite troubleshooting and repairs of fire sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues Conducting Inspections: Performing routine visual inspections of fire sprinkler systems, including sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, control panels, and other components, to check for signs of corrosion, damage, obstructions, or malfunction. Testing System Functionality: Activating test valves to check water pressure and flow, ensuring proper operation of alarms and notification devices, and testing sprinkler heads where appropriate. Code Compliance: Verifying that sprinkler systems comply with relevant building codes and standards, including NFPA codes, local ordinances, and industry best practices. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed inspection reports documenting findings, including any identified deficiencies, necessary repairs, and recommendations for corrective action. Customer Interaction: Communicating inspection results to building owners or property managers, explaining potential hazards, and providing information about required maintenance or repairs. Follow-up Inspections: Performing re-inspections to verify that identified issues have been addressed and repairs completed properly. Required Skills and Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of fire sprinkler system design, components, operation, and maintenance procedures. Code Expertise: Familiarity with relevant fire safety codes and standards, including NFPA codes. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues, analyze findings, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Attention to Detail: Meticulous observation skills to detect even minor damage or malfunctions in the system. Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to explain technical details to building owners and management. **Skills** Fire sprinkler, Pipe fitting, Fitting, Inspector, Fire Protection Inspector, Fire Suppression Inspector, Sprinkler, Backflow, NICET, NICET I, NICET II, Inspection, Service **Additional Skills & Qualifications** OSHA 10 and OSHA are preferred 1-3+ years in fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action) Ability to read blue prints High School/Vocational training is a plus Working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems. Some understanding of all NFPA and local codes that apply (NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24). Understanding of all fire codes and an ability to discern deficiencies in the system(s) being serviced. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
