Job Description for Fire & Safety Officer.

Vendor Management - Ensure compliance of procedures for Hiring Vendors, participate in Negotiation of scope and Agreements with vendors for firefighting system (FFS). Timely response from Vendors for rectification of firefighting equipment (FFE), ensure Statutory Compliances are met by vendors in deliverables Audit vendor delivery and maintain 100% FF readiness.

Training-. Conduct team training in firefighting and trouble shooting from Security, Engineering services, Housekeeping on quarterly basis. Cross training of licensee teams in fire drills, DMP and coordinated planned evacuation of premises. Training of Engineering team to provide FF support and operations of pumps, valves and switches of system bypass and reroute.

Fire Audit: Carry out Fire audit of the site, common and Licensee Areas. Submit report on system readiness and room for process improvement. Completion follow-up actions for closure of Observations and sharing/implementation of Best Practices at site.

Coordination of Team for FFS maintenance & Operations of FFS: Coordinating necessary support to on-site teams in Site for enusring100 % uptime of FFE w.r.t. Shutdown Maintenance Activities, Planned Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance including Root Cause Analysis for FFS. Arranging Vendor Assignment Reviews and Fire Equipment maintenance and operation, follow-up actions for closure of Observations. Coordinate such maintenance calendars with Licensee activities.

FFE inventory Management / Inspection: Maintain & manage records, readiness & inventory of FFE. Carry out monthly audit of the site equipment, ensure scheduling of refills / repairs / replacement measures are followed to keep 100% fire readiness. Maintain schedule of such cycles and maintain sufficient inventory for any areas where FFE is taken for refills / repairs/ replacement. Follow-up actions for closure of Observations and sharing/implementation of Best Practices at site.

Reporting/MIS: Primarily responsible for coordinating of PPM activities schedule with engineering, routine maintenance, breakdown and service report. Timely collection of data for next cycle repairs ensuring the discrepancies if any are closed within 48 hours respective agencies. Record keeping of various reports of audits & inventory, summarizing and placing the same to the management

Qualification:  Graduate from reputed University and Diploma Fire and Safety State Fire and Safety Training Or equivalent is must.

Work Experience: Work experience minimum 4-5 years in commercial property.
